Pihaw is the eleventh generation leader of the Atayal tribe. He was excited to talk about the migration history of the tribal family hundreds of years ago. And he hopes that the Atayal people can understand the culture of their own ethnic group.

He invited several tribal grand old men together to lead me to the old tribal ruins for a root-seeking journey. I followed behind their old and slow paces. I've understood that the beliefs of their ethnic identity are strong and they've been working hard to help more people approach and understand them further.

Pihaw Payan是泰雅族部落第十一代頭目，他激動的述說幾百年前部落家族的遷移史，期望能讓族人們都能了解自身族群的文化。他更邀約幾個部落耆老帶領著我，前往舊部落遺址的尋根之旅，跟隨著他們年邁的步伐身後，才明白族群認同的文化信念是強烈的，也努力讓更多人接近與了解，並持續將泰雅族傳統文化延續下去。
