The grandmother operates a small grocery store in the tribe and rears the dependent grandson alone. In addition to go down the mountain to see the doctor and replenish stores, she works almost everyday at the store. The grandson always helps to fill in the goods onto shelves and minding the store after school. Here, the small grocery store, is not only the home, but also his playground. The crowded merchandise shelves are filled with instant noodles, biscuits, and soft sweets. The floor is stacked with layers of grains and supplies. The large refrigerator which the motor is roaring loudly stores drinks. All those stacks of merchandise is the only sustenance and pillar of survival for the grandmother and grandson. The candy in the grandson's hand is a pleased and simple pleasure!
我的房子
在部落經營小雜貨店的阿嬤,獨自扶養相依為伴的孫子長大,她除了下山看病、補貨外,每天幾乎鎮守於店裡。孫子會在下了課幫忙填補貨上架、顧店,而這裡,是家,也是他的遊樂場。擁擠的雜貨商品架上有著泡麵、餅乾,層層堆放地板的是雜糧、日用品,一旁還有馬達聲轟轟作響大冰箱裡的飲料,那些一個個堆疊著的是阿嬤和孫子唯一賴以生存的寄託與支柱,而孫子手裡拿的一塊糖卻是小小滿足的簡單快樂!
